Eight-year-old Whitney Dangerfield’s rosy-red smile hides a traumatised little spirit. At a young age, her overactive imagination, coupled with a latent superpower, has meant when she’s afraid and thinks of monsters they materialise into reality to sadistically torture her. Only she can see them, so naturally everyone at school thinks she’s weird. Because of this, she’s been told to go see a therapist, gets bullied and must tread on eggshells around her pugnacious father’s temper. Her only friend is a hulking twelve-foot-tall imaginary monstrosity called Giggleberry... but is he imaginary or real?
