By the late 21st century, the world had passed the point of recovery. Temperatures kept rising,
the air grew thick with carbon pollution, and farming outside sealed environments stopped
working altogether. Entire animal species disappeared. As shortages spread, disease and war
followed, tearing apart what remained of society.
In spite of it all, people survived. Some traveled to space, while others sought refuge under
remote mountains. Mount Bliss, a sanctuary for those who escaped the world’s devastation,
stands among them.
