PSYComics is a leading UK based Indie Press publisher. All of our comics and graphic novels have a psychological theme. PSYComics is led by forensic psychologist Professor Laurence Alison MBE, drawing on 30 years spent studying human behaviour in extreme circumstances, including conflict, violence, resistance and critical decision making. But these are comics first. PSYComics works with exceptional artists, including former 2000 AD artist and fine artist Simon Harrison, allowing each story to develop its own visual identity rather than imposing a single house style. Some PSYComics stories are adult, violent, erotic and disturbing. Others are fantastical adventures suitable for much younger readers. They can take place in ancient Greece, a Grimm like forest or the far future. What they share is an ambition to create comics that are beautiful, intelligent, visceral, imaginative and strange.
