A homeless Muslim battles to escape the hostel streets of her small-minded hometown, but her savage aggressors don’t know her skills include acrobatic par-core free running.
Think the minimal dialogue, panel to panel action and visceral violence of A Righteous Thirst for Vengeance meets the fluid action of Matt Fraction’s Hawkeye, in a social realist narrative story. It’s Halloween. All the ghouls and goblins are out (masks are on!). We follow SOMA (23, a homeless ex junkie Muslim) trying to get out of the town of Marrow, but is pulled into a night of survival through it’s seedy underbelly.
This comic is being published in colour, by Markosia Comics later next year. Here's a little sample in black & white.
